Arun Ramachandran is an accidental entrepreneur who obtained an undergraduate engineering degree from India and a master’s degree in computer engineering in the US. In 2000, he co-founded Comstock Systems which worked in the area of file systems and IT operation analysis and was acquired by Hitachi in 2003. In 2006, Arun co-founded Cumulus Systems which developed real time storage operational analytics software, the company was acquired by Hitachi in 2012. He is one of the co founders of Bolt Analytics. Bolt Analytics focuses on real time streaming analytics that enhances traditional ETL with intelligence.
