Peter has provided search engine consulting services to the US EPA since 2000. He worked in the commercial software and applications fields starting in 1982, including the Documaster mainframe search engine, and developed an SGML/XML search engine for searching literature collections from UNC, UC-Irvine and Oxford. Peter earned a B.A. in English and Music from the University of Virginia and an M.S. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina.
